ARCH were delighted to have a stand at the popular Allergy & Free From Show North, held at the BT Conference Centre on the Liverpool Waterfront on 25th and 26th October.
The annual event, now in its third year, brings together all kinds of businesses that work to improve the lives of allergy sufferers, and so it was an ideal opportunity for ARCH to promote the many ways in which colonic hydrotherapy can help.
Our stand was designed to draw attention, with a full sized toilet to hold our prize draw entries, and it certainly worked. Over 400 people stopped by to talk to us over the two days, with the loo helping to break the ‘poo taboo’ and making people feel more comfortable talking about their digestive problems.
People talked to us about a range of digestive problems, some caused by food intolerances such as coeliac disease. As experienced colon hydrotherapists, we were able to show the benefits of our treatment for all of these problems, explaining how we clean out the gut to create an environment in which ‘good’ gut bacteria can thrive.
We were also able to show people how to find a professional, ARCH registered therapist who could help them with their digestive problems, by using the handy find a therapist facility on our website.
Prize draw winner
One of the highlights of the stand was our free prize draw to win a NutriBullet – the super-powerful smoothie maker that is just perfect for anyone trying to get more fresh fruit and veg into their diet. We had hundreds of entries from people who had travelled from across the UK to be at the show, and were grateful to Dr Nick Read from the IBS Network, who bravely put his hand in the loo to pull out our winner.
Congratulations to Jacqui Needham from Newtown in Powys who will be receiving her NutriBullet in the post very soon.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us at the show. We really had a great time sharing the benefits of colonics with so many people. And don’t worry if you missed out on the Liverpool show; there will be two more Allergy & Free From Shows next year, from 3rd to 5th July at London Olympia, and back in Liverpool on the 7th and 8th November.
Thanks also to Michael Cusick for his fabulous photographs of the event. Click here to see some of the great shots he took of ARCH and other exhibitors.
