Here are NCCH 2012 teaching dates for new colon hydrotherapy training and workshops for existing colon hydrotherapists

Module 1: Jan 11-15; Feb 22-26; Mar 21-25; April 18-22; May 13-18
(Bridgwater); June 13-17; Sept 9-14 (Bridgwater); Oct 17-21. All in
Poole, except those marked Bridgwater.

Module 2: Mar 26 - April 1; May 19-25; Sept 15-21; All in Bridgwater.

We are also holding 2 postgrad weekend workshops for existing colon
hydrotherapists on Apr 21/22 and Sept 22/23

ARCH's 25th Anniversary 2012 conference

First Aid Training- information

Remember- Your first aid certificate is valid for 3 years. Please check when yours is due for renewal.

The previous appointed persons course has been replaced by:

- Emergency First Aid at Work - (EFAW) and is HSE approved.

It is still a one whole day course.

The course should cover:

On completion of training, successful candidates should be able to:
■   understand the role of the first­aider including reference to: ­ the
importance of preventing cross infection; ­ the need for recording
incidents and actions; ­ use of available equipment;
■   assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely,
promptly and effectively in an emergency;
■   administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious (including
seizure);
■   administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
■   administer first aid to a casualty who is choking;
■   administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding;
■   administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock;
■   provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries (including small
cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds, small splinters).
