The Four Constitutions and Temperaments

A 2 day CPD workshop with Philip Weeks and Salim Khan
June 7-8th, 9.30-4.30, London W1,  £100/£120
If you are a health practitioner this workshop will
give you a fascinating insight into the temperaments
and characters of your patients. Whether your patient
is predominantly sanguine, melancholic, phlegmatic or
choleric can have a major influence on the causes,
development and treatment of dis-ease. Understanding
the patterns of physical, emotional and mental health
of these 4 basic temperaments can help you to
understand both your patients and yourself better.
The common heritage of Traditional Medicine is the
understanding that a balance of the humours (black
bile, yellow bile, phlegm and blood) results in good
health. When the humours are out of balance then there
is dis-ease.
