Instructions On How To Renew Your ARCH membership

Dear Member

The following information is very important as it concerns changes to the way renewals are conducted from this year.

Please read it carefully as failure to follow the instructions properly can result in your renewal being declined and your listing automatically removed from the new ARCH web-site.

As you may be aware, we have spent a great deal of time having a new ARCH website built which is more flexible and user friendly, both for your clients and for you as a member.

You will be required to register your own details on the site shortly and this will trigger an automated response to allow you to access the site.

Following the site going live, renewals will then be done by an automated system and payment will be made via debit/credit cards or by Pay-Pal.

It is vitally important that you notify ARCH Admin immediately should you change your email address as this will be the assumed way of contacting you for most communication when the site goes live.

For the few people who don't have an e-mail address or access to the internet, please contact the ARCH admin office so that alternative arrangements can be made.

Please note, this option is only for the few people we accept have no internet/email facility.

Near renewal of membership date, you will receive an automated reminder that your renewal premium is due and you will be expected to make your payment on or before the due date.

Please be aware, our discretion will not now be available and so if you do not make your payment on time and send your supporting documents in full, the system will automatically remove your listing and you will incur a £20.00 cost for relisting.

Your payment is £140.00. This is made up of £120.00 for your ARCH membership and £20.00 for the GNC.

The documents required to support the payment are as follows:

Current first aid certificate - ARCH accepts a certificate as valid for 3 years.

Copy of your insurance Document – You must also have valid insurance both for professional indemnity of £3million and public liability insurance. Even if you are on the Balens Block scheme we still require a copy of your current insurance.

Proof of your membership of the CNHC -You need to be a member of the CNHC as agreed at the AGM. This will involve you paying your CNHC subscription when it is due. The CNHC also use an automated renewal system.

Certificates for the CNHC are valid on 30th November so for this year should be easily available. You must renew your membership for next year as it is a condition of your ARCH membership.

30 Hours of Continuing Professional Development

Finally you need to complete 30hours of CPD. You don't need to necessarily use the template form, you can write it down or type it out however you like, just as long as you do it, and send it with the rest of your documents.

You may send your documents either by scanning and copying to ARCH admin, or by photocopying and posting as before.

Your payment must be made via debit/credit cards or by Pay-Pal which is a safe secure system for online transactions

Your renewal is due on 30th November each year. Not the end of December.

In the past manual administration has allowed for some flexibility. In future anyone failing to renew on time/according to the Constitutional renewal date will automatically be removed by the system at the end of December.

I hope this letter makes things clear to you so that we can have an easy change over to our new system.

ARCH is justifiably proud of its members and trusts that everyone will be keen to move forward with our exciting new website.

Kind Regards

Gillian Edwards
