ARCH is the UK's pre-eminent, and oldest, association for Colon Hydrotherapists, setting standards, promoting the industry and offering support for therapists nationwide.

ARCH is a mutual association, run by members, for members, for the benefit of both therapists and their clients alike. We maintain standards that set ARCH therapists apart, and we work hard to promote the benefits of Colon Hydrotherapy to the public, the medical profession and the media.

More importantly, we look after each other. ARCH offers our members all the advice and guidance they need across every area of their business, from challenging cases to CPD courses.

We are active and dynamic in our drive to grow Colon Hydrotherapy in the UK, and to bring it into the mainstream so that more and more people can enjoy the many health and wellbeing benefits of the treatment.

How to join ARCH

ARCH welcomes applications from recent graduates and therapists who want to share in our unique community and enjoy the many benefits that come with being a part of the UK’s largest and longest established colonic association.

To apply for membership, you will need to complete an application form. DOWNLOAD APPLICATION FORM. All applications will be assessed by the membership committee. If you have any questions regarding eligibility, please contact ARCH Admin at admin@colonic-association.org.

ARCH membership criteria

To maintain our high standards, there are certain criteria you must meet to become an ARCH member. These include:

• A completed course of training that satisfies the standards required by ARCH;
• Clinic premises that meet the standards set out by ARCH;
• A valid first aid certificate;
• A Disclosure & Barring Service check (formerly known as CRB check);
• Registration with an independent voluntary regulator such as the CNHC.

The committee will also consider applications from practicing therapists who have trained at other schools if they can evidence and it can be verified that they meet the ARCH Core Curriculum and/or are prepared to undertake further study.
